Baptist Kenai has been formed as a fellowship of believers under the Lordship
of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire to know Christ, to be
conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit and to make
Him known. We are committed to the task of sharing the Good News
of Jesus Christ, equipping believers for the work of ministry and
expanding the Kingdom of God.
We
believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible World of god and that it
is relevant and applicable to our lives today. Therefore, we place
great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God may instruct
us as to how He would be worshipped. (1 Tim. 4:13; 2 Tim 3:16-17)
We
believe God is worthy of all praise, reverence and love. There fore, we
give great place to worship in song. It is our goal to worship Him
with our whole lives as well, whether at home, at work or in
church. (Col. 3:16; 1 Thess. 5:16-17)
We
believe ever believer is called to abide in Christ through the study of
His Word, prayer and fellowship and by the yielding of our lives
to the Holy Spirit for His equipping and empowering. (Eph.
4:15-16)
We
believe that love is the greatest demonstration of the reality of Jesus
Christ. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our worlds as well
as by our actions. (John 13:34-35; Phil. 2:3-5)
We
believe Christian service is the responsibility of all believers. Our
goal is to develop the ministry of each member of the body of
Christ to the benefit of all (Eph. 4:11-15; 1 Cor. 12:4-7)
We believe it
is the privilege and calling of every believer to be actively
involved in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others who
do not yet know the joy of following Jesus Christ. (Matt.
